This course is for healthcare personnel who need EKG within their work environment.

EdCor offers ECG/(EKG) classes in two formats

Introduction to ECG/(EKG)

This is an instructor led online class. Typically the class has 4 meeting times in the evening spread across 2 weeks with homework and study items between each session.

We adapt the class for telemetry technicians, EKG technicians and MA’s who participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.

This includes personnel in in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who require the specialized skills for their job.

After completion, passing students receive a certificate of completion.

This class can be scheduled as a 1 day in person class for groups of 8 or more.

ECG/(EKG) – Online\eLearning

This class has two online learning modules from AHA.

  • AHA ACLS Prep: ECG eLearning Course

The ACLS Prep ECG course covers Heart anatomy and basic electrophysiology, ECG measurements and being able to recognize and understand basic arrhythmias.

  • AHA ALS Advanced ECG Module

The Advanced ECG Module describes more complex arrhythmias, such as second and third-degree heart blocks, wide complex tachycardia, and narrow complex tachycardia.

When registering for the class you can select one or the other or both modules.
