Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course

ENPC
Accurate assessment of a child with acute illness or injury requires special knowledge and skills. The course, taught by qualified nurses, is designed to provide the core-level pediatric knowledge and skills needed to properly asses and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes from this high-risk patient population.

Course Format

A variety of learning methodologies are included to cater to every learning style, including:

  • Manual
  • Online modules
  • Simulation
  • Instructor-led classroom discussions and skills stations

Pre-course Learning

Includes access to required online modules prior to the course date to let you learn at your own pace, apply what you learn, and receive immediate feedback. Modules include a step-by-step breakdown of the Pediatric Nursing Process and a comprehensive study guide.

Prerequisites

  • Participants must be a registered nurse to receive verification.
  • Licensed practical nurses and paramedics are eligible to attend all portions of the course and obtain CNE hours, but are not eligible for status verification.

Upon completion passing students receive an Emergency Nurses Association ENPC certification.

A: At this time ENPC does not offer a renewal course.
A: Starting with classes in Jan 2020 the ENPC book is no longer included as part of the registration fee. You may purchase the book from EdCor or elsewhere as long as you have a book for the class.
