Pediatric Care After Resucitation

PCAR provides training specific to the scope of practice of nurses caring for patients in Emergency, Periop, Critical Care, Acute Care and Rehab setting.

Resucitation-based courses focus on prehospital, and ED Care in the initial 3 minutes, 30 minutes and 3 hours after injury….but then what? PCAR was specifically designed to address the learning needs of nurses and other clinicians who care for injured chldren in emergency, perioperative, critical care, acute care and rehab settings BEYOND the resuscitative phase.

Whether you work with injured kids exclusively or on an occasional basis, PCAR will help you anticipate injuries, recognize patient deterioration, prevent complications, identify assessment strategies, initiate interventions, and evaluate outcomes in the hospitalized patient.

PCAR is a self-paced onlne class consisting of 8 modules.

A PCAR verificaiton is valid for 4 years.
