Trauma Care After Resucitation

TCAR provides training specific to the scope of practice of nurses caring for patients in Emergency, Periop, Critical Care, Acute Care and Rehab setting.

Resucitation-based courses focus on prehospital, and ED Care in the initial 3 minutes, 30 minutes and 3 hours after injury….but then what? TCAR was specifically designed to address the learning needs of nurses and other clinicians who care for trauma patients in emergency, perioperative, critical care, acute care and rehab settings BEYOND the resuscitative phase.

Whether you work with injured patients exclusivly or on an occasional basis, TCAR will help you anticipate injuries, recognize patient deterioration, prevent complications, identify assessment strategies, initiate interventions, and evaluate outcomes in the hospitalized patient.

TCAR is a self-paced onlne class consisting of 8 modules.

A TCAR verificaiton is valid for 4 years.
